Also outside there is a cute little pond with lots of Florida wildlife we seen a snake a gator and turtles! So fun and cool! Beach is right up the street and an ice cream hot dog shop next door great place to stay if you have kids!”

Sunrise breakfast at Sliders is awesome. The unit came equipped with EVERYTHING you need to cook (or bake for that matter). Quiet, comfortable and effortless check-in and checkout. “Took three chances to finally get us in a double queen room that was actually cleaned. First was a single king then a double queen that had not been cleaned. Asked for a credit card for incidentals and charged the full room amount after I already paid thru Expedia. Have a ridiculous $15 per night fee for parking. Hotel needs some TLC and some updating.”

“Originally planned for two people, but our daughter and grandson joined us. Room was fine for two people but a little crowded for four. Water temperature was good but shower pressure was a little harsh (felt like needles on my face). The bathroom fan didn’t work very well as the bathroom was wet from ceiling to floor after a shower and we didn’t take very hot showers. Air conditioning was great. Staff was super nice. Overall a good experience and we will be back.”

“I loved this place! Some colleagues were staying at boring, soulless places, like the Ritz, but I chose this because it looked really authentic and homely. It was my first time in Florida and I was really happy sipping my beer, listening to the country music from the next door bar and feeling like I was on holiday, even though I was there for work! “Beautifully restore old school turned into a boutique hotel. Each room is different and unique. Very comfortable rooms. Our guest respect when its quiet time. Bar area is great, they have beer,wine & cocktails. Each night the hotel offered music entertainment in their courtyard. Drinks are reasonable priced. And each morning they had a continental breakfast: toast, bagels,cereal etc coffee, teas & juice l.”
